For us, there is nowhere in the Lake District quite like Ravenglass, there is a magical mixture of sand and sea against a backdrop of Lake District fells. Wasdale and Wast Water, voted Britain’s favorite view, is only a 20 minute drive away, while Scafell Pike, the Lake District's highest peak, is easily accessible
Discerning tourist are discovering that Cumbria’s Western Lake District has all the Lake District's inherent appeal but without the drawbacks of congested roads and overloaded amenities.
There are many attractive walks directly from the Guest House, for all abilities, from ambles to strenuous hill walking. We have maps and books available for guests' use and are only too happy to offer advice if required.
